Emancipator

Douglas Appling, known as Emancipator, is a Portland-based electronic musician and classically trained violinist who self-released his debut album Soon It Will Be Cold Enough in 2006 at age 19. He grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and later moved to Portland after college and a tour in Japan.
